Forge The Conviction
- “Why There Is No God” by Steve Walker available HERE. Walker probes and answers some of the more popular reasons for believing in atheism These questions are signposts pointing the way to getting to know God personally; discussing your thoughts with another or journaling your answers will help you forge convictions.

- Knowing God (JI Packer) This classic work on the attributes of God should be read by every Christian. Available HERE.
- Sign up and attend a group studying, The Truth Project DVDs The Truth Project is a 12-week video series designed as a small group study to probe the basic convictions of a Christian worldview. If you’re interested in attending the next session, contact Hugh Heinrichsen or Mike Kildal.
- Walk along the beaches by the ocean, or hike one of the trails up the North Umpqua. Read Romans 1:20 & Psalm 19. Consider our Creator. Ask, “If God indeed made all this, what must he be like? How big must he be?”
- What would a world without God look like? Why does it matter what God is like? How do we know what God is like?
Learn The Skill
- Try to observe God’s hand at work in your life this week. Assume that there are no coincidences, but that it is ruled by God’s providence. Each day, record in your journal your questions and prayers.
Develop The Habit
- Focus on the following Scriptures and commit at least one to memory: Matthew 7:7-8, Isaiah 40:28, Acts 17:24-28.
- Join a small group of others who are seeking answers to questions about God HERE.
Make The Decision
- Listen to these songs that encourage us to worship God and acknowledge his character.
